Three Year Old Program
The three year old program is designed for
children who are 2.9 by September. If there is space a child turning 2.9 during
the school year will be accepted into the program.
Vision
The primary goal of the program is to develop the child's social skills and to
encourage a love of school.
Student/Teacher Ratio
One certified, licensed teacher to 6 students.
Curriculum
Daily activities include playtime, story time, and music and art projects. We
enable each child to show their creativity and uniqueness, while developing
pride in their accomplishments.
We allow plenty of time for free play with a variety of materials at different
play areas. To enrich the play experience free playtime is shared with the
children of the four year old program on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This
allows siblings and neighborhood friends the opportunity to be together. During
the first half of the year, children of this age generally parallel play, each
focusing on their own activity. By January we see more social interaction
between the children, sharing toys and choosing to work together.
Requirements for Acceptance
Children must be 2.9 years of age and toilet trained
